Contest Rules

Beginning June 28, 2019 to July 8, 2019, log onto www.925kickincountry.com and upload a picture of you and friends enjoying an ice-cold longneck.  A designated “Kickin’ Judge” will pick a favorite from all eligible entries to win two tickets and two backstage meet and greet access passes to the Luke Combs concert on July 11, 2019.  Grand prize winner will be notified no later than 5:00 pm on July 9, 2019.  A designated judge will pick the winner based on fun, creativity, and fun atmosphere displayed in the picture.  No purchase necessary. Must be 21 or over. Prizes are not transferrable or redeemable for cash. WCKN sole responsibility will be to award the prize. WCKN shall have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if the prize winner for any reason cannot or decides not to use any of the prize. Winner will be responsible for any and all applicable state and federal taxes. Fees and incidentals are not included and will be the sole responsibility of the winner. One entry per person. If winner cannot be reached after three attempts, then another winner will be randomly selected and notified.

The prize is approximately valued at $200 based on current box office pricing. The contest is open to those who hold a valid article of state-issued identification or a valid Military ID and are 21 years of age or older. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Packages cannot be transferred if the winner is unable to attend. Winners will be responsible for state and federal taxes. Winner is responsible for picking up the prize by 5:00 pm on July 11, 2019 or will be forfeited from the WCKN studio on Clements Ferry Road in Charleston. Fees and incidentals are not included.

One entry per person. Submitting more than one entry per person will invalidate all entries by that contestant. Any entry submitted on behalf of another individual or using another person’s email address or name will be disqualified and ineligible to claim any prize.  Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries allowed by using same, multiple/different email addresses, identities, or any other methods void that participant’s entries and that participant may be disqualified. In the event of a dispute as to any on-line registration, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant and he/she must be eligible according to these Official Rules. No mechanically reproduced or automated entries permitted.  Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification and all such entries will be deemed void.

WCKN contests are open to all eligible South Carolina residents 18 or older have not won anything on WCKN in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Tickets are to be picked by winners at the WCKN studio BY 5:00 pm on July 11, 2019 or will be forfeited.  Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of WCKN, Charleston Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WCKN main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
