Congratulations to our Deserving Winner
Nicole Smith – Cardiac Nurse at Trident Medical Center!

Nicole was nominated for a free lunch provided by Service Master of Charleston, Yeti cooler, virtual meet and greet with country star Jordan Davis and ice cream social for her hospital provided by the Service Master of Charleston Ice Cream Truck with the following entry:

Ms. Nicole is selfless. She truly puts the patients needs first. She is an addict when it comes to helping people. She became a nurse to be the one that someone calls on for help. Selfless, compassionate, and caring. On her way to work she came across an accident on I-26 involving a single vehicle with infant children. She immediately went into nurse mode and handled the situation. She not only provided lifesaving care to the small children, but also calmed the mom and father. After ensuring a proper handover to the first responders, Nicole continued on her way to work at Trident Medical Center where she performs life saving procedures on cardiac patients in the Catheterization Lab. Not only does Nicole strive for excellence in her professional area, she also helps those in need.

Nicole and her coworkers took a well-deserved break for free lunch and ice cream before Nicole hopped online for a heartfelt thank you from Jordan Davis:

And a huge thank you to all the deserving Lowcountry nurses and health care workers who have been bravely and selflessly serving the Lowcountry throughout the year, and especially now during the COVID-19 pandemic. You are true heroes!

Special thanks to Service Master of Charleston:
