We were not prepared. Thursday night was one of those nights where you go in expecting something good, but get completely blown away. Ben Gallaher‘s acoustic performance on the Rusty Bull Brewing Co. stage on June 2 was nothing short of memorable. Right off the bat, he wowed us with his smoky vocals and infectious delivery of originals like “Get on One” and “Every Small Town.” Then he surprised us with a cover of “Highway to Hell” that had Cush reliving his hair band fantasies (photographic evidence below), and rolled straight into a guitar-shredding sequence that literally busted a string. He finished the mash-up on five strings with his patriotic single “Country, Boy” and brought the house down. To say our lucky Nashville Hot VIP winners were eager to meet and take photos with Ben after the show is an understatement.

Scroll on for highlights of this wild night.

Our Nashville Hot shows just keep getting hotter and hotter!  Be sure not to miss the next one: ACM awardee and three-time performer on ABC’s The Bachelor, Tenille Arts! She’ll be hitting the Rusty Bull stage on Tuesday, June 21. As always, you can win your spot in the VIP (with meet n’ greet after the show) and advance tickets are on sale for just $8 ($12 at the door) – and include a free beer with valid I.D.

In the meantime, check out video and photo highlights of some of our favorite moments below.
