RECAP: Joe Nichols at The Refinery
92.5 Kickin’ Country Listener Appreciation Party
Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2022
The rain threat didn’t keep lucky 92.5 Kickin’ Country listeners from packing into The Refinery on Tuesday, Nov. 15 to see Nashville great Joe Nichols for free. The Lowcountry showed up and Joe Nichols delivered, playing all of the hits we wanted to hear including slow dance favorite “Gimme Dat Girl” and his beachy single “Sunny and 75.”
Opening for Joe was Lowcountry lawyer John Price and his band, followed by newly minted Charleston City Paper “Song of the Year” winner Lauren Hall.
Thanks to Joe, who delivered an awesome show, Kickin’ Country listeners, who always make it a party, and to our sponsors, Top Shelf Catering, Sweet Grass Vodka, Anchor Heating & Air, John Price Law Firm, Stokes Volkswagen, Bud Light and Dorchester Paws, who made the show possible.
Scroll on for photos and video of some of our favorite memories from the night.
Here’s Joe backstage, amping himself up to walk on stage as Kickin’ Country’s Hunter & Cush introduce him to the crowd:
