No matter how many times you’ve sung along to “Whiskey on You,” you’re probably not prepared for just how big, gritty and soulful Nate Smith‘s voice is live. He blew the doors off Rusty Bull Brewing Co. right from the first song and didn’t stop until the final song.

Along the journey, Nate had us all in our feels one minute with his hometown anthem “Raised Up” and romantic wedding favorite “I Don’t Want to Go to Heaven,” then rocking out the next to hits like his soon-to-be-number-one single “Whiskey on You.” By the last note, we knew we’d caught lightning in a bottle, seeing that big of a talent right in our own local brewery. Thanks to Nate and Sony Music for delivering a Nashville Hot we’ll never forget. Thanks also to our closers Goldpine, who kept the party going long after Nate left the stage. And, as usual, thanks to all you Kickin’ listeners who came out with your big energy to give Nate’s talent the Lowcountry welcome it deserved.

Don’t miss the next Nashville Hot show! We’re consistently bringing Nashville’s hottest on-the-cusp talent to this intimate venue for ticket prices that are an absolute steal. So, watch this space for info on the next one – they sell out fast! – plus, your chance to win VIP seats and a meet n’ greet with the artist.

Big thanks to our Nate Smith Nashville Hot sponsor Bootjack Clothing Co.:
