Contest Rules

Beginning at 8:00 am Friday, February 14, 2020 through 09:59am Friday, February 14, 2020 92.5 Kickin Country Listeners will be invited to participate in the “LAST MINUTE CUPID” contest and be entered for a chance to win the grand prize of one night hotel accommodations at the Dewberry Hotel in downtown Charleston, SC and one dozen roses. 

To enter participants will take a social media/website picture with the 92.5 Kickin’ Country Last Minute Cupid character at Sweetgrass Plastic Surgery & Spa at 20 Fairchild Street Suite 200, Charleston, SC 29492 between 8:00 am and 9:59am on Friday, February 14, 2020.  One winner will be chosen at random to win the grand prize.  One entry per person.  Any entry on behalf of another individual or using another person’s name or e-mail address is disqualified and ineligible to win any prize. Winner will be chosen at random from eligible entries.

Approximate retail value of the grand prize is $400.00 according to The Dewberry Hotel and Charleston Radio Group.   Hotel stay provided by The Dewberry Hotel.  Roses provided by Charleston Radio Group.  Winner will be notified no later than 5:00 pm on Friday, February 14, 2020.  Three attempts will be made to connect with winners; if no connection is made alternate winners will be chosen. 

The contest is open to those who hold a valid article of state-issued identification or a valid Military ID and are 18 years of age or older. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Packages cannot be transferred if the winner is unable to attend. Winners will be responsible for state and federal taxes. Fees and incidentals are not included.   No purchase is necessary.  Participants can only qualify once for this contest. 

Images submitted must be owned by the person submitting the entry. No one else may have, or can claim, legal rights to the image. If there is a “minor” (a child or person under the age of 18) in this image, the entrant must certify that he or she is the parent or legal guardian of the minor (child or children) in the image. Any misrepresentation of ownership of the submitted image, or legal guardianship of the minor in the submitted image (if any), will be grounds for disqualification of the contest and potentially all future contests or promotions with Charleston Radio Group. Entries containing inappropriate images will be disqualified. Charleston Radio Group has final say of what content is appropriate for the website and has absolute discretion over the eligibility of an image entry. No indecent or obscene material, no content or material that is illegal, no material containing nudity or is sexually explicit, or by law, obscene profane or pornographic is permitted. By entering this contest, you are verifying that you are the owner and producer of the submitted material and that no third-party ownership rights exist to the image. If the image contains people, by submitting such image you agree to have the rights necessary to consent or submit on behalf of those in the image.

WCKN contests are open to all eligible South Carolina residents 18 or older have not won anything on WCKN in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of WCKN, Charleston Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WCKN main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
