Where to See Fireworks & Celebrate the 4th of July
Around the Lowcountry

Looking to enjoy fireworks displays for our nation’s birthday this 4th of July? Here’s where you and your family can head to celebrate America:

4th of July Festival
Saturday, June 29th
Moncks Corner
Regional Recreation Complex, 418 East Main Street, Moncks Corner
6 PM – 10 PM
Free admission and parking, live music, face painting, food trucks, balloon artists and more. Fireworks will begin at dusk, approximately 9:30 PM.

Fireworks & Freedom Festival
Thursday, July 4th
Summerville
Gahagan Park, 184 W. Boundary Street, Summerville
6 PM – 10 PM
A free family-friendly celebration with live music, food, fireworks, a kid’s zone, and loads of fun! A free shuttle will run from Town Hall to the Park from 5 PM until 10 PM.

Party at the Park
Sullivan’s Island
6 PM – 10 PM
The annual golf cart parade begins the day at 9AM with the start at Sunrise Presbyterian Church and the finish at Sullivan’s Island Elementary School. The Party at The Park begins at 6 PM. Bring a chair or a blanket to enjoy the Shem Creek Boogie Band with the fireworks to follow shortly after 9 PM.

Folly Beach
2024 Folly Beach 4th of July Fireworks festivities start at dusk at The Folly Beach Pier. The show will be shot the West side of the island, with a good view on the beach and along Center Street.

Riverfront Park

5 PM – 10 PM
Enjoy Charleston’s largest fireworks display with live music and food trucks. Gates at Riverfront Park will open at 5, with the fireworks scheduled to start at 9.

4th of July Fireworks
Isle of Palms
Front Beach
The City of Isle of Palms will host a fireworks display on the 4th beginning at 9:15 p.m. at the Front Beach area. The area of the beach between the IOP County Park at 14th Avenue and Sea Cabins will be cleared at 6 PM for the set up and preparation of the Fireworks Show.

Earlier in the day, the Isle of Palms Community 4th of July Golf Cart Parade will start at 10AM with staging of golf cart participants beginning at 9AM at 4th Avenue and Charleston Boulevard. This is not a City of Isle of Palms event.

Patriots Point 4 th of July Fireworks Blast
Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum
6 PM – 10 PM
Climb aboard the USS Yorktown for the most patriotic 4th of July event in the Lowcountry! There’ll be live music, food vendors, beer and wine for sale, and fireworks from the Flight Deck. Admission to this year’s event is $95 per person and grants attendees access to the USS Yorktown’s flight deck and hangar bays starting at 6 PM. Tickets are limited to six per person and cannot be resold.

Joe Riley Ball Park
The Charleston RiverDogs will host Myrtle Beach on the 4th of July. The game will have an earlier 6:35 PM start with a big fireworks display after the “Thirsty Thursday” game.
