Join the Run/Walk to Honor a True American Hero
Saturday, April 23 | CreditOne Stadium
The word “hero” may be used too often, but is the perfect word to describe Pat Tillman. The pro football player gave up his career after the attacks on 9/11, join the military and was killed fighting in Afghanistan. Now, you can honor him and his sacrifice.
After a two-year absence, the Charleston Pat Tillman Honor Run returns on Saturday, April 23 at CreditOne Stadium on Daniel Island. The run/walk is 4.2 miles, since Pat wore the number 42 while playing for the Arizona Cardinals.
All proceeds from the event benefit the Pat Tillman Foundation. You can sign up for this year’s event here.
The ultimate goal of the Pat Tillman Foundation is to unite and empower a diverse community of US service members, military veterans and military spouse as the next generation of leaders.
