Couth in the Time of Cush

Today, the gang embarks on a mission of utmost importance: helping Cush find his couth. Along the yellow brick road to a couthier Cush, the gang breaks out into spontaneous dirty 90s songs and:

  • Takes a metaphorical detour to the Awful Waffle to pay homage to the late great Anthony Bourdain.
  • And learns to place their orders in authentic WaHo lingo.
  • Hunter bemoans the recent censorship of Looney Tunes classics.
  • And the gang discovers their cartoon personas.
  • Hunter’s weekly rant on “the feels” finally gets its theme music.
  • Kerry rattles off the names of at least 5 different kinds of pasta.
  • And old world-style medium-bodied reds. (“Grenaches and bordeauxs and cab francs, oh my!”)…
  • And goes on a blind friend date with Cush’s wife.
  • Leading her to return with an earful for Cush about his drinking habits. And eating habits. And… manners in general.
  • And the gang considers the possibility that Cush’s wife just might have it in her to hold him underwater, Paige VanZant-style.

Everyone say it with us now: “shar-COOH-ter-EE!”
