Married 60 years, separated by the Virus 215 days…

A Florida couple named Joe and Eve Loreth have been married 60 years.  And they just reunited after seven months apart.

Joe got really sick in March with an unknown illness.  It doesn’t sound like it was COVID.  But Eve couldn’t visit him because of the pandemic, even when he had to have his left leg amputated.

The best they could do was talk on the phone and see each other through a window a few times.  Then in August, she moved into a retirement home.  And he finally joined her there last Wednesday.

She didn’t know when he’d show up, so it was surprise.  But in the end, HE was the one who couldn’t stop crying.
